The ability to shape coiled heaters when cold enables to heat up parts with different shapes, especially nozzles and hot runners in the plasic and packing industries, but also in the railway, chemical (rubber processing), car and glass industries, hot stamping, foundries and wood treatment processes.

During coiling, gap between turns of coil can be modified to compensate heat losses at ends of coil or to insert heating element into slots. Coiled heaters can also be casted into aluminium or bronze.
